At Flamingo Family Day Care our mission is to create foundations for long life learning. Our beliefs are to value one another as Educators and Management Leaders in recognising one another’s strengths and working together as a team for the good in the community.

Flamingo Family Day Care Services offer early childhood education and care and school aged care in a home setting and offers care during standard hours, before/after school, during school holidays, overnight and weekends. 

 

We are committed to develop, enrich and stimulate every child’s strength, imagination, independence and abilities through creative learning, promoting physical, social, emotional and cognitive development.
 

Our goal is for all children to feel positive, independent, safe and happy. We create quality care in a warm nurturing family environment, where lasting memories are made.

 

Our Educators encourage the natural elements for children to explore their world. Constructive outdoor activities allow children to learn a element of risk taking and reep the benefits of their actions.

Service Curriculum

Our Service combines a balance of curriculum-generated play (intentional teaching) and play-generated curriculum (child-directed exploration) while ensuring the Principles, Practices and Outcomes of the Early Years Learning Framework are the foundation of our educational program.

 

Children’s choice is central to our teaching and learning programs and our vibrant nature play programs set our service curriculum apart from our competitors.
